Who We Are

Independent. Youth-Led. Fearless.

Masina Organization is a non-partisan, community-centered organization founded by young activists, journalists, students, and human rights defenders who witnessed increasing restrictions on civic freedoms in Uganda.

We exist to empower communities to understand and defend their constitutional rights, while promoting peaceful civic participation and accountability at every level.
